    About WAV and M4R

    WAV: WAV stores uncompressed PCM audio, so it keeps every bit of the original sound. Files are large, but WAV is the standard for audio editing, studios and professional software.

    M4R: M4R is the iPhone ringtone format. It is an AAC audio file (the same as M4A) with a different extension, and iOS only accepts ringtones up to 30–40 seconds long.
