Set it as your iPhone ringtone
On iPhone (no computer):
- Install the free GarageBand app from the App Store.
- Open Files, find the .m4r in Downloads, long-press → Share → GarageBand (or import it inside GarageBand via the loop browser).
- In GarageBand's My Songs, long-press the project → Share → Ringtone → Export → Use sound as… Standard Ringtone.
With a computer: connect your iPhone, open Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows) and drag the .m4r file onto your iPhone in the sidebar. Then pick it in Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone.
Set it as your Android ringtone
- The MP3 is saved in your Downloads folder.
- Open Settings → Sound (& vibration) → Phone ringtone.
- Tap +, My sounds or Add ringtone and choose the file. On Samsung: Settings → Sounds and vibration → Ringtone → +.
Use it as a notification sound
- Move the OGG from Downloads to the Notifications folder with your Files app (optional on most phones).
- Open Settings → Sound → Default notification sound (or a specific app's notification settings) and pick it.

Ringtone vs notification sound
Ringtones loop while your phone rings, so 20–40 seconds with a gentle fade works best. Notification sounds should be short, so the Notification option limits your selection to 10 seconds and saves it as OGG, the format Android uses for its own sounds.
