    AES-256 vs old ZIP passwords

Many tools still use legacy ZipCrypto, which is easy to crack. We always use AES-256. Windows' built-in Explorer can't open AES ZIPs. Recipients on Windows should use 7-Zip, WinRAR or this site's extractor. iPhone's Files app opens AES ZIPs directly.
