    How to use the Volume Booster

      Choose audio or video files.

      Set the volume slider (100% = unchanged) or tick Auto-level.

      Press Convert. Video stays video, audio stays audio.

    Boost vs. auto-level

    Volume raises everything by the same amount, which is good for a recording that is uniformly quiet. Auto-level (dynamic normalization) lifts quiet passages more than loud ones, which is good for interviews and lectures where people sit at different distances from the mic.
