    How to use the Video Cutter

    Instant vs frame-accurate

    Videos are stored as keyframes plus changes. A Smart cut copies the video without re-encoding, which takes seconds, but the start snaps to the nearest keyframe (usually within 1–2 seconds). Picking High, Balanced or Small re-encodes the clip so it starts on the exact frame you typed.
