    About AC3 and M4R

    AC3: AC3 is Dolby Digital surround sound, used on DVDs, Blu-rays and TV broadcasts. It supports up to 5.1 channels.

    M4R: M4R is the iPhone ringtone format. It is an AAC audio file (the same as M4A) with a different extension, and iOS only accepts ringtones up to 30–40 seconds long.
