    About MKV and M4R

    MKV: MKV is a flexible open container that can hold unlimited video, audio and subtitle tracks. It is popular for movies and anime but isn't supported by iPhone or most TVs out of the box.

    M4R: M4R is the iPhone ringtone format. It is an AAC audio file (the same as M4A) with a different extension, and iOS only accepts ringtones up to 30–40 seconds long.
