About MTS and ALAC
MTS: MTS/M2TS files come from Sony, Panasonic and Canon HD camcorders (AVCHD). They are high quality but hard to play on phones.
ALAC: ALAC is Apple's lossless format. It compresses audio to roughly half the size of WAV with zero quality loss and plays natively in Apple Music, iTunes and on every iPhone. It is saved with the .m4a extension.
